The OneQrew group, which now unites 15 specialists for software solutions in the trades under one roof, is thus further expanding its leading market position.

Freiburg im Breisgau, May 16, 2024 – blue:solution software GmbH, based in Rheine, will be joining OneQrew as of May this year as another expert in the field of trade software. This increases the number of customers in the Group to over 40,000 businesses and SMEs in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The Group is thus strategically expanding its portfolio in the HVAC (sanitary, heating and air conditioning) and electrical sectors as well as incorporating a cloud-based entry-level solution for small businesses. The deal also strengthens cooperation with wholesalers and OneQrew gains a strong customer and product team.

Focus on Cloud Solutions

As part of the transaction, smarthandwerk, blue:solution’s flagship product, will become part of the OneQrew platform. This offers trade businesses a complete solution for day-to-day office work, including costing, preparation of quotes, time recording, document management and ordering. Whether in the office, in the workshop, on the road or on the construction site – OneQrew’s offerings ensure an end-to-end digital workflow.

The pioneering cloud solution b:work will also become part of the portfolio, making it an important element of the Group’s innovation roadmap and expanding its product range with an entry-level solution for master craftsmen and small businesses. In addition, the strategic cooperation with wholesalers (GC Group, Mainmetall, obeta, Hardy Schmitz, König Group, Witte, Wiedemann Group, HBG, BÖRNER Group, PETER JENSEN Group, PIETSCH Group, ELMER Group, HONIG Baustoffe, Emil Löffelhardt, G.U.T., Adolf Würth GmbH & Co. KG) will be further expanded.

“A well-considered step”

“Integrating the company that I and my team have built up over 20 years into OneQrew is a well-considered step. The opportunity to continue to offer innovative solutions for our customers as part of the Group in the coming decades and to be able to offer a secure future and exciting prospects for my team in this merger has convinced me. Together, we are opening new opportunities for our large partner channel in particular – especially with a focus on our goal of achieving a leading position in the SaaS environment,” comments Rudolf Melching, founder of blue:solution software GmbH. “Of course, our customers can continue to rely on the usual quality and first-class support from their familiar contacts.”

“We are looking forward to the teams growing together and the further strengthening of OneQrew. With blue:solution, we have gained a real heavyweight in the industry with strong products, channels and excellent customer relationships. We share the same values, have in-depth expertise and a passion for our customers and will work together to provide even greater impetus for the digitalization of the skilled trades in the future. At the same time, the b:work cloud product in particular underlines our close partnership with wholesalers,” says Dominik Hartmann, Co-CEO of OneQrew.”

“We are delighted to continue our collaboration with b:work as a member of the work CE community under the OneQrew umbrella. We stand by our joint customers, the skilled trades, as reliable partners on the path to digitalization,” says Stefan Läufer, CDO of the GC Group. Bernd Sengpiehl, CTO of OneQrew, adds: “blue:solution is a pioneer in the industry with its state-of-the-art cloud solution b:work. We will now benefit as a group from its experience in the market and a technically strong product team as we continue to develop all our offerings and prepare them for the future cloud age. The integration of b:work will give our platform a further technological boost in the target customer segment of smaller companies.”
