Freiburg im Breisgau, January 16, 2025 – OneQrew, the leading German software provider for crafts and construction, continues its dynamic growth trajectory in 2025: With the acquisition of Huonker Softwaretechnik GmbH & Co. KG and the integration of their renowned billing software baufaktura, OneQrew is expanding its portfolio and customer base. The software manufacturer from Dormettingen is already the 17th acquisition of the group. By integrating baufaktura, OneQrew is tapping into a new customer group and a highly functional entry-level solution. The over 5,000 business users of baufaktura gain access to additional software solutions from the OneQrew portfolio through the merger, while continuing to benefit from proven quality and familiar support.

Tailor-made solutions for medium-sized businesses

baufaktura was specifically developed for small and medium-sized construction and craft businesses, offering comprehensive functionalities for billing and calculation. The software supports modern e-invoice formats such as ZUGFeRD 2.2 and XRechnung 3.0. Additionally, the software meets numerous other requirements, including email communication, correspondence, site reports, hourly billing, tenders and measurements, quote and invoice creation, customer management, and article databases.

Alongside a versatile basic version, which includes template documents and text samples, the software can be individually adapted to the needs of specific businesses with additional modules. These include digital tools for pre- and post-calculation, site reports, and delivery notes. The baufaktura customer base spans various trades such as plumbing, electrical, painting, and construction.

Strengthening the digital craftsmanship sector

The two previous shareholders of Huonker Softwaretechnik, Andreas Schwenk and André Rawlinson, will remain with the company and drive the development of baufaktura forward in collaboration with OneQrew.

André Rawlinson, Sales Director at Huonker Softwaretechnik, looks forward to future cooperation: “Through integration into OneQrew, we can bring in our expertise while benefiting from the innovative strength of a strong partner. Our goal has always been to minimize bureaucracy for our customers, giving them more space to focus on their core business.” Andreas Schwenk adds: “Together with OneQrew’s development teams, we are well-positioned to create innovative solutions that optimally support craft businesses.”

Bernd Sengpiehl, CTO of OneQrew, elaborates: “At OneQrew, we likely have the largest software development budget in the industry today. Our goal in the construction sector is to provide simple cloud solutions, automate paper processes, and make artificial intelligence usable in everyday craft activities.” Co-CEO Dominik Hartmann, who has led OneQrew since 2020, comments: “Huonker is another puzzle piece that makes our vision a reality: From apprentices to medium-sized construction companies, OneQrew offers a 360° platform with highly functional solutions for all trades in the construction sector. Mobile apps complement the core applications beyond the office, enabling seamless digitalization of processes in crafts and construction.”

With the integration of baufaktura, OneQrew achieves another milestone in making craftsmanship more efficient through digital solutions, coinciding with the launch of mandatory e-invoicing. All solutions can already generate and process the new electronic invoice formats, allowing customers to focus on what matters most: their craft and passion for excellence in construction.
