Veteran SaaS Executive to Further Digital Transformation Success

Freiburg, January 04, 2023 – The group of companies around TAIFUN, M-SOFT, PraKom, P Software & Services, and extragroup, which unites leading German software manufacturers for the skilled trades under its umbrella, is filling the newly created position of Chief Operating Officer (COO) with the experienced manager Felix Krohn. Krohn brings years of experience in management positions and a strong focus on digital transformation.

Felix Krohn, Chief Operating Officer

Prior to joining OneQrew, Krohn was the Chief Transformation Officer for Aareon Group, the market-leading provider of ERP software and digital solutions for the property sector. In this role, he drove the transformation to Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) offerings and operations. Krohn also held various group-wide vice president roles at Wolters Kluwer, a global provider of professional information and software for lawyers, tax advisors, auditors, and hospital and nursing staff, where he was responsible for go-to-market strategies for cloud-based product innovations. In addition, Krohn held senior positions at the management consultancy Simon-Kucher & Partners, where he assumed responsibility for establishing and managing a new office in Madrid.

As COO, Krohn will lead the consolidation of the group and promote operations capabilities that ensure strategic objectives. Working closely with the portfolio companies acquired to date, Krohn will establish an organizational structure for long-term growth and success.

“I am excited about the challenges in the craftsmanship software environment. A key point will be the orchestration of the various individual companies. We want to maintain their evolved identity but still act as a whole on the market and integrate all trades – not only in Germany but also in the DACH region and later in Europe. At the same time as these growth targets, we are also pursuing transformation targets, the shift to cloud and SaaS offerings. There is great potential here for the group, and I look forward to exploiting it together with the team,” says Felix Krohn.

“With Felix, we were able to attract an experienced leader who fits very well into our team. Our business will benefit tremendously from his experience in international software companies and cloud transformation, and the COO role will help us set up our organizational structure efficiently. I look forward to working with him to further drive the digitalization of the trade,” says Dominik Hartmann, CEO of the group.
